Athletic skiers, tomorrow's racing stars and speedy downhill demons will feel on top of the world at Planai. The legendary 3-km Fis slope from the Planai mountaintop into the valley is crowned by its finishing juncture with the famous Planai target slope. Skiers can challenge their competitors to action-packed duels on the permanent racing slope or indulge in racing on the steep piste. The hosts of the alpine huts, otherwise known as “Planai gourmets,” will provide all you need to strengthen yourself in between times. In all Planai alpine huts, the hosts offer a plate of Styrian gourmet specialties for a fixed price of € 7.90.

The Planai Skiing EKG
The Planai Ski EKG does not measure your heart rate or blood pressure but rather the metres climbed and kilometres covered on the pistes. At the end of the day, every guest of Planai and Hochwurzen can ask for a free printed record of the elevation covered (in meters)/skied (in kilometres). This year, we have added a texting service. Find out how many kilometres you skied through the mountains by text message. Receive your text any time, even during lunch.
