Our family-run hostelry is the perfect starting-point for summertime walking tours and all kinds of hiking activities. We are situated right next to the lower terminus of the Schwarzeckalm double chair lift, which is in service all day on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

While staying at our hotel, you will receive a ticket for unlimited use of the cable car facilities in Maria Alm (dorfj@t-Natrun cabin lift and the Schwarzeckalm double chair lift); tickets are valid for the duration of your visit.

The pleasant valley floor, lying 930 m above sea level, and the grassy mountainsides invite you to take walking or rambling tours, while the craggy buttes of the Steinernes Meer (“Sea of Stones”) and the Hochkönig (“High King”) offer fantastic mountain hiking at altitudes of up to 3,000 metres.
Countless visitors have come to relax and enjoy a wonderful experience in the uniquely beautiful mountains around Maria Alm.
