The Tyrolean village of St. Anton am Arlberg offers unlimited sporting and relaxation activities against a backdrop of prominent peaks.
Those arriving in winter enter a superlative snowy paradise which enjoyed international renown long before the Alpine Ski World Championships were held here in 2001. 86 mountain railways and lifts grant skiers and snowboarders access to over 270 km of groomed slopes and over 180 km of deep powder runs. Tourists are free to ski from morning till night on a variety of different slopes without having to use the same lift system once – virtually unique in a European ski resort.
