The Tyrolean village of St. Anton am Arlberg offers unlimited sporting and relaxation activities against a backdrop of prominent peaks.
Those arriving in winter enter a superlative snowy paradise which enjoyed international renown long before the Alpine Ski World Championships were held here in 2001. 86 mountain railways and lifts grant skiers and snowboarders access to over 270 km of groomed slopes and over 180 km of deep powder runs. Tourists are free to ski from morning till night on a variety of different slopes without having to use the same lift system once – virtually unique in a European ski resort. The steep escarpment on the Schindler Kar, the runs on Galzig, Gampen or Kapall, on the Valluga or the Rendl even elicit the praise of fans who grew up with boards instead of skis.
Guests will find all the amenities indispensable to a modern winter sporting arena in St. Anton am Arlberg. This Tyrolean mountain village with around 2,500 inhabitants, satisfies the most discerning of modern guests, while retaining a great deal of its originality and traditional charm.

St. Christoph am Arlberg was made famous by a **** *Translator’s note: word missing in original built in the 14th century by a shepherd, Heinrich Findelkind von Kempten, who erected it as a protective shelter against the force of the elements.
Today, St. Christoph am Arlberg consists of several hotels and guesthouses. In the evening, guests gather in the old-fashioned inns, where new friendships and happy memories are formed over a hearty meal, good wine and a lot of laughter.
